Extreme Web Makeover - Corporate Edition Terms and Conditions
(Participation constitutes full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these official rules)
Eligibility: This contest is open to legal U.S. residents residing in the continental U.S. over the age of 18. All entrants must be an employee of the company for which they are nominating. Eligible companies must have a registered domain name and, for the purpose of this contest, include public and privately held companies and not-for-profit organizations. Employees and immediate families (spouse, parents, children, siblings, and their respective spouses) of The Mark E. Ting Company, and the named sponsors, are not eligible.
How to enter: All entrees must be accompanied by an official submission form either through www.thewebmakeover.com or by sending a written submission to: Extreme Web Makeover - Corporate Edition, P.O. Box 340 Normal, AL 35762. To be eligible, the submissions must adhere to the instructions of the form, and the contestant must meet the above eligibility requirements. Incomplete registration forms are void and will not be considered as potential winners.
Steps to Enter: The Extreme Web Makeover Contest is all about networking. So there are a few steps that are necessary to complete your entry. Incomplete entries will not be considered. (Such a small price to pay for $50,000. :)

General: By entering, contestants agree to comply with these official rules including all eligibility requirements. Entries will be deemed to be submitted by the authorized holder of the domain name from which the entry is made, or by an authorized spokesperson for the nominated domain name. Submissions that have been damaged or tampered with during transmission may be disqualified. Only one submission - regardless of submission format, is allowed per person, per domain name, however, multiple entries per company will be permitted.
Entrants agree to be contacted by The Mark E. Ting Company, and/or the Extreme Web Makeover - Corporate Edition sponsors for this contest or in the future.
Terms: By entering, entrant agrees to hold harmless and indemnify The Mark E. Ting Company, Extreme Web Makeover - Corporate Edition, its sponsors, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, assigns, directors, officers, governors, employees and agents against any and all liability, damages or causes of action (however named or described), with respect to or arising from either (1) Entrant's participation or (2) the receipt or use of the prizes awarded in the promotion.
Prizes: One Web site makeover will be awarded per quarter to a winner selected by the panel of judges, at their discretion. The Prize will consist of a redesign of a single Web site by The Mark E. Ting Company, and Web site hosting for the period one year from the launch of the site. The redesign will be limited to a maximum of 100 hours of work, however the contest winner may request a quote for work above and beyond the scope of the prize. The Mark E. Ting Company. retains the right to refuse to work on any site that it considers to contain inappropriate or unethical content. The Prize is non-transferable and no substitutions permitted, except by Sponsors, who reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if advertised prize is unavailable. All taxes and any other costs associated with a prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
Selection of Winners: Winners will be determined at the sole discretion of The Mark E. Ting Company and the Panel of Judges through selection of which site they deem to be "most deserving" of a Web site redesign. An individual, or company can win no more than one time within a twelve-month period.
Winner Notification: Winners will be notified by mail, e-mail or telephone. Prize winners may be required to provide proof that he/she, or the winning business is the authorized holder/owner of the Web address, (domain name) associated with the winning entry, and have the authorization to have the site updated, modified and moved to a The Mark E. Ting Company Web hosting plan. Contest entry constitutes permission to use winning company's name, nominee's name, likeness, city, state, and old, and new Web site for the purpose of advertising, promotion and publicity in all media (including online) worldwide without additional compensation. Failure to follow rules will result in the removal of registrant's name as a potential prize winner.
The Mark E. Ting Company reserves the right to notify nominated companies of their entry into the contest to validate.
